Details

The NordVPN Design Team is a multidisciplinary group of product designers, web designers, UX researchers, UX writers, and graphic designers building digital freedom across a cybersecurity suite. The team is seeking a curious and determined UX Researcher to help shape product success through hands-on qualitative research of user-facing digital applications.

Responsibilities

Initiate, plan, and conduct end-to-end research, including study design, participant engagement, analysis, and communicating insights.
Deliver timely, actionable insights in clear, engaging, and reusable formats to inform teams across the organization.
Ensure research insights actively shape product decisions and become a lasting part of the product development process.
Balance strategic and tactical research, adding strategic dimension to tactical work.
Support and empower non-researchers to conduct research by providing guidance and encouragement.
Build and apply AI workflows to accelerate research processes and help insights scale across the organization.
Build strong relationships across teams as a proactive, curious, and involved team member.

Requirements

Proven experience in UX research, particularly qualitative research focused on digital applications.
Ability to think holistically about user flows and journeys, understanding how individual interactions fit into the overall user lifecycle.
Proactive and curious mindset, with the ability to take ownership, move work forward, navigate uncertainty, and manage shifting priorities.
Ability to connect research with product and business goals and outcomes.
Hands-on experience applying AI to research work and building systems that transform findings into lasting, reusable organizational knowledge.
Passion for elevating research beyond presentations and reports through visual storytelling, interactive formats, and stakeholder involvement that drives real change.
