Details

At Nord Security, you’ll help create a safer cyber future by contributing to products trusted by millions of users worldwide. This role focuses on quality assurance for the NordVPN API, including manual and automated testing of backend systems and web applications.

Responsibilities

Write manual and later automated tests for complex functional and integration testing to confirm acceptance criteria have been met.
Perform functional testing in backend systems.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA team members to ensure high-quality products.
Support, maintain, and improve test cases.
Report software defects and collaborate across development teams to resolve them.
Apply Agile principles in day-to-day activities.
Advocate for product quality within a cross-functional development team.
Help identify testing strategies and drive their implementation with the QA Guild.
Support a smooth release process while maintaining high quality standards.
Train and mentor less senior team members.
Contribute ideas and initiatives focused on creativity and innovation.
Ensure the product meets quality standards for deployment.

Requirements

Proven quality assurance experience, including frontend, backend, and web application testing.
Experience with Postman and Playwright.
Experience designing and managing test cases.
Familiarity with management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Ability to quickly understand complex technical systems and structures.
Strong commitment to product quality.
Experience with Agile, Kanban, or similar methodologies and an understanding of working in development teams.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Bonus Skills

Experience with virtualization, GitLab, and Jenkins.
Familiarity with microservice-based architectures.
Experience with Jest and Axios.
Experience using Node.js.
Experience with Docker, Postman, BrowserStack, BrowserStack Connect, and Figma.
