Details
As a Business Developer within the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Grid, you operate with a “getting things done” mindset. You actively drive opportunities from idea to implementation while working with stakeholders, architects, data specialists, application vendors, product owners and DevOps teams. The NFR Grid supports domains including Legal, Audit, Compliance, Trade Surveillance, SIM, Business Continuity Management, Regulatory Change Management, Privacy and Corporate Office.
Responsibilities
- Translate business, risk, regulatory and data requirements from Compliance Market Abuse Monitoring stakeholders into actionable user stories for SaaS and in-house application development.
- Shape the complete data journey, including identifying and collecting stock-market, transaction, reference and compliance data, and structuring and enriching it for effective monitoring.
- Ensure data complies with security, privacy, classification and data-risk requirements, including access control, segregation, lineage, logging, auditability, retention and integration requirements.
- Own requirements clarification, refinement and user acceptance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Work with data specialists and engineers to translate complex data needs into simple, reusable and uniform solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reduce manual work and increase transparency.
- Help stakeholders detect potential market abuse more accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment with IT engineers and business developers in an international setting.
Requirements
- A process-oriented approach.
- Curiosity about data and an understanding of how it creates business and compliance value.
- Ability to discuss data needs with specialists, ask the right questions and explain complex data topics to different audiences.
- End-to-end understanding of data sourcing, definitions, quality, controls, use and lifecycle management.
- Ability to turn analysis into action, align stakeholders, resolve ambiguity and support sustainable improvements.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong delivery mindset, energy and ambition.
- 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, data management, process or solution design, development, testing or DevOps.
- Experience with data collection, data modelling or structuring, data mapping, data quality improvement, and documenting definitions, lineage or controls.
- Ability to assess whether data is fit for purpose based on completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness and traceability, and to convert findings into prioritised improvements.
- Understanding of non-financial risk, information security, data confidentiality and regulatory obligations.
- Hands-on experience developing and enhancing data streams is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, SQL, data platforms or reporting tools is an advantage.

- Gross monthly salary of €4,634 to €6,620 based on a 36-hour work week, including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget. A 40-hour work week is also possible.
