The Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Data Domain enables and accelerates Detecting Financial Crime (DFC) processes through high-quality Data Products. The team works on data onboarding, data modelling, data quality, and translating data into business value, with the aim of creating a centralized, rationalized, high-quality data landscape.

As a Business Consultant in the Data Product Team, you will deliver end-to-end data solutions for DFC and data consumers across the organization. You will combine data management expertise with curiosity, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills while bridging the gap between business and technology.

Responsibilities

• Understand data needs and requirements arising from new regulatory requirements and build Data Products to meet them.
• Help understand and implement how data used and generated by GenAI solutions can be captured in consumable Data Products.
• Collaborate with first- and second-line parties, Data Scientists, and onshore and offshore IT Engineers to develop data solutions within cross-functional teams.
• Promote and embed the FEC Data Domain mission and vision across relevant stakeholder groups.
• Lead data onboarding and data modelling activities.
• Monitor and improve data quality.
• Contribute to the development and management of data solutions for Detecting Financial Crime processes.

Working Environment

The FEC Data Domain is accountable for Data Modeling, Data Engineering, Data Quality, and Data Management activities related to Detecting Financial Crime. You will work closely with Data Consultants, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and the Data Product Owner, both onshore and offshore. The role is part of a dynamic, developing environment focused on building a new department and supporting personal and professional growth.

Requirements

• HBO/WO Master's degree.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial services or consultancy.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex topics and identify connections.
• Experience collaborating on and managing or coordinating data projects.
• Experience with data modeling is a plus.
• Experience with Databricks or an equivalent technology is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Data Management principles is a plus.
• Data savviness, including the ability to perform queries and analyze data independently.
• Natural curiosity about the business context behind data requirements.
• Comfortable working according to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Future-oriented mindset.
