Engineering Manager, Product (Privy)

Privy builds simple, flexible APIs and tools for developers to make privacy and user ownership the default online. The company provides abstractions and infrastructure above wallets, integrating across chains, third-party providers, and Stripe products such as Treasury and Link.

Engineering at Privy focuses on rapid iteration, strong product judgment, and a security-minded approach. The team uses Node, React, and AWS while working on hardware enclaves, multi-region low-latency APIs, and blockchain abstractions for mainstream developers.

Responsibilities

• Own long-term team outcomes and the success of Privy's product and business.
• Hold the team accountable for excellence in quality, throughput, and performance.
• Ensure the team works on the right scope of work and projects, align decisions with business impact, and build interfaces with other parts of the organization.
• Fill gaps as a player-coach by reviewing pull requests, writing and reviewing design documents, and investigating incidents.
• Coach engineers toward growth and their career goals.
• Build a supportive, fun, motivating, and celebratory team culture.
• Partner with the team's Tech Lead and Product Manager to drive successful engineering and product outcomes.
