About the Team
As a member of the Partner Solutions Architecture team, you will provide technical guidance to Stripe’s partners. The team drives growth through co-solutioning, education, and enablement across the partner ecosystem. You will serve as a critical technical liaison to Stripe’s Partner Development Managers, creating technical business plans that identify, incubate, and bring to market service and solution offerings built on or with Stripe.
The role requires intellectual curiosity, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to build deep technical trust with partners.
Responsibilities
- Build highly consultative, trusted relationships with executives and technical decision-makers at Stripe, Salesforce, Adobe, and commerce enterprise partners.
- Provide strategic and technical thought leadership and become a trusted advisor in solving mission-critical business challenges.
- Architect business models that enable partners to create new monetization opportunities and drive growth.
- Work with priority Salesforce and Adobe partners, including GSIs, to build Stripe capabilities and solutions.
- Develop and execute partner enablement plans.
- Lead technical discussions and solution deep-dives with partners regarding Stripe’s value to their clients.
- Engage CTOs, engineering leaders, and other technical leads to share technology roadmaps, demonstrate innovations, and define solution strategies.
- Communicate success internally through QBRs and similar activities.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and assistance during the partner sales process to support joint opportunities.
- Educate Stripe go-to-market teams, particularly Solutions Architecture teams, on Salesforce solutions and capabilities.
- Advocate for key partners within sales regions and identify opportunities for sales collaboration.
- Collaborate on technical content, including sample code and demos, to demonstrate implementation use cases and best practices.
- Provide partner-focused product feedback and guidance on Stripe’s products.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role, such as Solution Consultant, Solutions Architect, or Sales Engineer.
- 7+ years of deep experience in commerce, order-to-cash processes, and related ecosystems, such as Salesforce and Adobe commerce offerings.
- Executive engagement skills and presence, with the ability to establish relationships with key decision-makers and build credibility at all levels.
- Effective group-facilitation skills and confidence leading customer meetings to gain strategic footing and pursue opportunities.
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
- Outstanding spoken and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to learn Stripe solutions such as Payments, Billing, and Connect.
- Ability to understand how ERP, CRM, billing, tax, and legacy systems interact within an enterprise technology ecosystem.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple strategic opportunities and customers.
- Experience with the Salesforce technology stack and ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a customer-facing domain expert at a software company, presenting and architecting solutions for enterprise customers.
- Experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs into web applications.
- Experience in systems design and building and deploying complex applications.
- Prior experience driving global enterprise technical sales for top-tier enterprise application companies.
- Experience helping customers adopt and consume software in a cloud model.
- Passion for learning and actively seeking knowledge.
