Details

Protect the bank's most valuable asset—data—as part of ABN AMRO's Information Protection team within the CISO (Corporate Information Security Office) Cyber Defence department. This role is a broadened version of a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst position, focusing on information protection and the analysis and response to data protection alerts.

Responsibilities

Analyse and respond to data protection alerts using Microsoft Purview modules, including Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Information Rights Management (IRM).
Handle incidents and provide feedback on existing data protection policies.
Apply knowledge of data within a Microsoft environment to help maintain control over sensitive data.
Consider applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including GDPR and DORA, in day-to-day operations.
Monitor developments in data protection and share knowledge with colleagues.
Work closely with teams across the Cyber Defence department.

Requirements

Must Have

At least 2 years of experience.
Good understanding of incident-handling and risk-management processes.
Good understanding of data security principles.
Understanding of and experience working with Azure Cloud.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of privacy regulations, laws, and policies.
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Purview DLP and Insider Risk Monitoring (IRM).
Background in cyber security incident management.
Experience working in DevOps/Scrum teams.

Working Environment

The role is based in Amstelveen within the Cyber Defence department, which is part of CISO and includes approximately 150 colleagues. ABN AMRO follows a hybrid working model, with an expectation to work in the office once or twice a week in consultation with the manager. The Amstelveen office is the home office for this role.
