ABN AMRO MeesPierson is seeking motivated interns to join the Investment Data Domain team within Wealth Management. The Data Management organization has been reorganized into 15 Data Domains, with Investments covering governance, data lineage, issue management, data mapping, data product development, and advanced analytics. The domain focuses on investment data, including transactions, contracts, instruments, positions, and pensions.

Responsibilities

Register and maintain Golden Datasets by ensuring the correct and sufficient registration of business metadata for Data Products and use-case-specific integrated datasets.
Follow up on data quality issues and data gaps.
Support documentation and administration in the data marketplace.
Contribute to preparing high-quality dashboards.
Collaborate with data users, data owners, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with data standards.
Assist other team members as needed.
Work collaboratively in an international environment and deliver results.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a similar field.
A learning-oriented attitude.
Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, data concepts such as metadata, data lineage, data quality, data issue management processes, data principles, and data governance.
Proficiency in Excel.
Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI and data catalogues.
Open to students at MBO, HBO, or WO level, including graduates and postgraduates, who are interested in building a career in investment data management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch and/or French are a plus.
Availability for 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with Friday as an option for thesis writing.
