Details
ABN AMRO has reorganised Data Management into 15 Data Domains. The Investments Data Domain focuses on investment-related data (transactions, contracts, instruments, positions, pensions) and includes capabilities such as governance, lineage, issue management, data mapping, data product development and advanced analytics. The team seeks motivated interns with attention to detail to join the Investment Data Domain within Wealth Management in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities
- Support registering and maintaining Golden Datasets, ensuring correct and sufficient registration of business metadata for Data Products and integrated datasets.
- Help follow up on data quality (DQ) issues and data gaps.
- Support documentation and administration in the data marketplace and contribute to preparing high-quality dashboards.
- Collaborate with other data users, data owners and stakeholders to ensure compliance with data standards.
- Assist other team members as needed and be flexible in task assignments.
- Work in teams and deliver results in an international environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a similar field.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn data concepts such as metadata, data lineage, data quality, data (issue) management processes, data governance and related principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data tools such as Power BI and data catalogues.
- Analytical skills and a learning attitude; attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (required). Dutch and/or French are a plus.
- Availability for 36 hours per week (Monday to Thursday); Friday optional for thesis writing.
