Mid-Level MDR Analyst

As a Mid-Level MDR Analyst, you will monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats across SentinelOne's global client base. You will join a supportive, globally distributed security team, working hands-on with the Singularity Platform and bespoke DFIR tools to detect and defend against modern threats. This is a collaborative, non-hierarchical team where you will bring your expertise, continue to develop it, and help your teammates do the same.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security threats, respond to incidents, and guide clients through remediation and mitigation efforts.
• Collaborate with internal MDR and MDR-adjacent teams on projects, tasks, and initiatives to improve the ability to detect and respond to threat actors.
• Query and analyze log data using the SentinelOne Singularity Platform.
• Become an expert in bespoke DFIR tools to identify and contextualize threats across EDR, cloud, and network sources.
• Tune and provide feedback on detection rules to reduce noise and improve signal quality.
• Write clear, detailed incident reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with detection engineers, threat intelligence, and client teams to improve the overall quality of the MDR service.
• Train and mentor fellow analysts in one-on-one and group settings.
• Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing to improve the SOC.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a SOC, incident response, MDR, or similar environment.
• A mindset that values learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with SIEM and EDR platforms.
• Experience investigating alerts from tools such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Splunk, Rapid7, or Microsoft 365 Defender.
• Understanding of attacker tactics, including MITRE ATT&CK, phishing, and lateral movement.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain investigative reasoning.
• Commitment to continuous learning and developing fluency in AI tools and concepts.

Compensation

This U.S. role has a base pay range plus commissions that vary based on the candidate's location. The posted range is the on-target earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and commissions. The OTE range is $84,000–$100,000 USD. Different pay ranges may apply in some locations and will be provided during the recruiting process.
