About the Team
Stripe's People Solutions team is a highly collaborative, cross-functional team that drives technical and process solutions for the People Team. The team works with stakeholders across the People Team, Finance, Corporate Technology, Workplace, and other functions to deliver a world-class employee experience rooted in technology.
The team serves as internal consultants to stakeholders and leaders, working through ambiguity and bringing organization to complex situations with a strategy-driven, execution-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand strategic priorities, define multi-quarter technology roadmaps, and articulate return on investment to secure execution resources.
- Act as a product leader by understanding employee experience needs, creating mockups to align on requirements, and presenting product strategies that connect business priorities to outcomes.
- Evaluate third-party vendors and provide data-informed build-versus-buy recommendations based on industry expertise and ROI.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, systems analysts, and product managers to translate requirements into technical designs, facilitate build plans, support user acceptance testing, and manage end-to-end testing through production.
- Use data, storytelling, and key performance indicators to support prioritization, monitor solution adoption, define ROI, and surface risks to stakeholders and leadership.
- Apply structured project and program management practices, including goal setting, project planning, status reporting, risk management, and metrics tracking.
- Partner with PMO, Systems, Operations, and Communications teams to launch solutions successfully and facilitate legal, compliance, and data approvals.
- Provide strategic and technical guidance on internal systems, technical roadmaps, solution design, data architecture, and software lifecycle delivery.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product development, technical program management, or internal systems design within an internal HR business function, including experience with global mobility technology in high-growth or technology companies.
- Fluency with AI and large language models, including practical experience using LLM-based tools.
- Ability to understand and map system-agnostic business requirements across complex, interconnected systems and translate them into technology solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, dynamic, high-velocity environments, manage data, and draw insights while navigating complexity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in a software engineering team or organization.
- Basic understanding of core internal systems, such as HRIS, ATS, CRM, LMS, ticketing, and finance systems.
