Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Connect Design team leads product development for complex users, including marketplaces and platforms, and designs experiences for managing risk and compliance in the United States and internationally.

The role focuses on understanding users and product strategy to design and advocate for high-quality product experiences across the Connect dashboard. It involves user interface design, user experience and interaction design, and prototyping.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery through delivery.
Ship meaningful, high-quality experiences that balance business needs with usability.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to shape the team’s roadmap and goals based on impactful and measurable customer outcomes.
Leverage insights from the user research team to identify opportunities and validate potential solutions to user pain points.
Partner with content design to craft compelling experiences that deliver the right information at the right time to the right user.
Work closely with other product designers to drive holistic solutions for marketplaces, platforms, and their users.

Requirements

6+ years of relevant design experience at a technology or product-driven company.
Experience working in a complex problem space such as B2B or SaaS interfaces.
A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and polished user interface craft.
Experience partnering closely with cross-functional teams to shape product direction and influence teams.
Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and multiple stakeholder inputs.
Experience working horizontally across product areas on ambiguous and complex problems.
Confidence presenting work to company leadership and communicating design decisions through a clear and compelling story.
