Anthropic is seeking a hands-on Product Marketing Operations Manager to build and run the operating system behind model releases. The role will manage launch calendars, plans of record, review workflows, launch-day execution, and operational processes across research, product, policy, legal, communications, sales, and marketing. The successful candidate will treat the launch process as a product, driving adoption and continuously improving its quality, usability, and scalability.
This is a high-ownership role on a lean product marketing team. During periods of high launch volume, the role will also contribute directly as a product marketer across products and surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Own the model launch calendar and sequencing across a broad portfolio of releases, coordinating timing with marketing, product, and communications teams.
- Own the plan of record for each launch, including deliverables, owners, dependencies, and deadlines, and surface risks early.
- Manage the review process for launch materials, partnering with legal, policy, research, and communications teams to ensure reviews occur in the appropriate sequence.
- Drive decisions and alignment across senior cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Own launch-day execution, including sequencing, timing, access, and operational readiness for everything launching together.
- Own internal resources for field teams and the operational side of enablement, including scheduling, speakers, and materials logistics.
- Develop and improve launch processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks that scale across launches.
- Own launch retrospectives and recurring product communications.
- Produce launch materials when required by launch volume.
Requirements
- Experience owning launch or release operations end to end and being accountable for launches arriving on time and in good condition.
- Experience building or substantially improving a launch or release process.
- Ability to treat process as a product, drive adoption, and measure the effectiveness of processes.
- Background in product marketing, product operations, technical program management, or launch production.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and timelines while keeping complex plans coherent.
- Effectiveness driving decisions across senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Technical background and ability to understand and communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to produce launch-ready materials.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and moving quickly in a rapidly evolving market.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The field of study should be relevant to the role through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Work Policy
Staff are expected to work from the San Francisco or New York office at least two days per week. Anthropic's general location-based hybrid policy expects staff to be in one of its offices at least 25% of the time. Candidates are encouraged to apply if they may need interim flexibility for relocation.
Benefits
Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and an office space for collaboration.
