About the Role

Teleport is looking for a security-focused Software Engineer to join the Security Team. The team works to detect malicious activity, investigate and respond to security incidents, assess and improve the security of Teleport systems through defense-in-depth, and build external confidence in the security program.

The role involves building and maintaining the platform that enables these security goals.

Responsibilities

• Add new log sources to the SIEM when red team exercises reveal gaps.
• Deploy a SOAR platform to enable automated alert triage and incident response.
• Build a case management system to coordinate incident investigation activities.
• Build an AI agent harness using Teleport Beams to enable autonomous threat hunting.
• Create lab environments for AI agents and humans to red team Teleport systems.

Requirements

• Strong AWS security experience.
• Experience with Go.
• Strong interest in security.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Experience in security.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR systems.
