Details

Join the team developing privacy and security products, including Threat Protection Pro, the NordLynx protocol, and VPN services used by millions of people. This role supports the Threat Intelligence team by building data curation and ingestion services and contributing to cybersecurity-focused products.

Responsibilities

Design, code, and maintain data curation and ingestion services for the Threat Intelligence team.
Contribute to future-proof architectural solutions, including distributed computing pipelines, microservices, contracts, databases, and data flows.
Participate actively in code reviews, provide feedback, share knowledge, and help ensure high-quality technical requirements and documentation.
Design new services required to provide quality feeds.
Maintain code according to team coding standards and quality expectations, delivering maintainable, readable, testable, secure, DRY, SOLID, and KISS code.
Propose and discuss ideas related to the product and cybersecurity.
Provide technical leadership and guidance.

Requirements

Strong understanding and proficiency in Python, including core concepts, syntax, and data structures.
Experience designing microservice systems and communication between services.
Experience with data stores such as PostgreSQL.
Ability to write maintainable code.
Cloud infrastructure experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex problems, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solutions.
Ability to learn rapidly and proactively identify and solve problems.
Strong attention to detail and a structured, research-first approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
