Details

Provide frontline operational support across the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange (CDE) and Deribit. The team operates 24/7 to keep trading, clearing, and connectivity systems healthy for clients and internal stakeholders. The role involves real-time troubleshooting, cross-functional resolution of complex issues, and deployment testing to protect production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across CDE and Deribit.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and business technology.
• Provide frontline support for internal and external investigations involving exchange operations, including error trade analysis and resolution.
• Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products, implement platform updates, and execute deployment testing in pre-production environments.
• Support client and vendor onboarding and ongoing operational enablement across both exchanges, including prediction markets and event contracts listed on CDE.
• Identify, document, and recommend operational process improvements aligned with business objectives and platform growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial markets operations or a technical operations role.
• Product and operational knowledge of listed futures or options, including hands-on experience with error trade analysis and resolution.
• Ability to diagnose and articulate complex technical problems and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience delivering multi-channel support through voice, email, and chat while maintaining quality in high-volume, time-sensitive conditions.
• Familiarity with prediction markets, event contracts, FIX protocol, network protocols, SQL, Salesforce, or JIRA is a plus.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Work Environment

• Remote-first role based in the United Kingdom.
• The team operates 24/7.
• Employees are expected to attend quarterly in-person working sessions called “surges.”

Compensation

• Annual base salary: £81,630–£90,700 GBP, excluding equity and bonus.
• Total compensation may also include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
