Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Enterprise Deployment Solutions. This fully remote role will focus on Grafana Federal Cloud and Grafana Cloud Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC), serving organizations that cannot use standard multi-tenant SaaS because of compliance, data residency, or cost-at-scale constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Grafana BYOC and Grafana Federal Cloud using product data and market research.
  • Balance customer value against engineering costs and technical constraints.
  • Own positioning, messaging, and differentiation for enterprise deployment products, including comparisons with standard Grafana Cloud.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on launches, competitive analysis, enablement, and demand programs.
  • Partner with Engineering and Technical Program Management on buildouts for non-standard deployment environments.
  • Balance customer timelines with engineering capacity.
  • Work directly with customers, prospects, and field teams on strategic deals.
  • Brief partners, resellers, and analysts on Grafana's deployment options.
  • Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal on product changes affecting authorizations and existing customer commitments.
  • Use AI tools daily to accelerate research, analyze product signals, and develop product positioning.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience with a technical B2B product, or a technical background in software engineering, solutions architecture, SRE, or technical program management combined with demonstrated product ownership experience.
  • Hands-on experience with a non-standard SaaS deployment model, such as self-managed, air-gapped, sovereign, BYOC, single-tenant, or FedRAMP/government cloud.
  • Firsthand understanding of how non-standard deployment models affect product functionality, operations, and economics.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, platform software, or developer tools.
  • Strong product and go-to-market judgment, including experience shaping product direction, positioning, and sales strategy.
  • Interest in working with US public sector customers and learning about their needs and buying cycles.
  • Experience leading across multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a remote, globally distributed organization.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience selling to or building for US federal, state, or local government customers or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, StateRAMP/GovRAMP, BSI C5, SecNumCloud, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, AWS European Sovereign Cloud, or GCP Sovereign Cloud.
  • Experience with pricing and packaging across deployment models.
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, or other data-intensive infrastructure products.
  • Experience working with resellers, systems integrators, or cloud marketplace partners.
  • Familiarity with open source software or commercial open source companies.

Benefits

  • Base compensation in Ireland of EUR 133,600–160,320 per year.
  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) for all roles.
  • 100% remote, globally distributed work environment.
  • In-person onboarding.
  • Global annual leave policy of 30 days per year, including 3 Grafana Shutdown Days.
  • Career growth opportunities and an innovation-driven culture.
