Technical Program Manager, Growth

Stripe's Growth organization drives the self-serve growth engine, including user onboarding, activation, and expansion across products. The onboarding program spans acquisition and intent capture, account setup and activation, and in-product discovery. These interconnected surfaces involve dozens of cross-functional teams and directly influence new user activation and product attach rates.

Responsibilities

• Drive Stripe's onboarding programs as a product-focused Technical Program Manager.
• Own a strategically consequential Growth program, managing the direction, health, and outcomes of the onboarding experience end to end.
• Set program strategy in partnership with Growth leadership and hold organizations accountable for program success.
• Drive cross-organizational decisions across teams in Growth, Dashboard, Docs, Marketing, and other product organizations.
• Resolve complex integration and ownership questions across team boundaries.
• Influence and shape product and engineering roadmaps by bringing a program-level perspective to planning cycles.
• Advocate for cross-cutting investments that individual teams may not prioritize independently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical program management experience, with demonstrated success driving complex cross-organizational programs.
• Strong product sense and the ability to understand enterprise customer needs.
• Ability to communicate with precision and credibility across engineering, product, and executive audiences.
• Ability to translate complex technical trade-offs into strategic decisions and drive alignment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and align cross-functional teams, drive decisions, resolve conflict, and build consensus across organizations with competing priorities.
• Proven track record of successful program delivery in complex technical environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in product management or product operations.
