Details

This position supports analysis of the Americas lending book, limits and portfolio dynamics monitoring, scenario forecasting and stress testing, data consolidation and reporting, and management presentations. The role also involves developing tools for data analytics, monitoring data quality, and coordinating regional responses to requests from head office, regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Portfolio Management, Sectors, Finance, Risk, Syndication, and Capital Management to understand reporting needs, source inputs, and deliver timely outputs.
  • Prepare and maintain recurring portfolio analytics and trackers used by Lending Management and the Portfolio Management team.
  • Monitor client performance, utilization of limits, portfolio churn, liquidity, and related metrics.
  • Monitor the pipeline and prepare forecasts and stress tests.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across reports and dashboards by validating inputs, reconciling figures, and following agreed definitions.
  • Manage and coordinate ad hoc data requests.
  • Support data quality monitoring and regional coordination of requests from head office, regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial banking experience.
  • Experience in lending front office or Finance is a plus.
  • Understanding of lending data, metrics, and business drivers.
  • Understanding of accounting statements and principles is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of programming or tools used for visual presentation of big data is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and data analytics skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to work under tight deadlines.
  • Solution-oriented and interested in working in an agile way.
