NVIDIA is seeking a Legal Operations Engineer to build proprietary software solutions and AI workflows that improve the efficiency of NVIDIA’s Legal Department. Legal Operations applies business principles, processes, and technology to improve the efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness of the in-house legal department. This role operates at the intersection of law and technology, using data, software, and AI to support global innovation and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and document software tools, custom scripts, and automated workflows to streamline legal department processes.
  • Integrate and expand the core legal technology stack, including CounselLink, Anaqua, and DocuSign CLM, with enterprise systems, APIs, custom tools, and automated data pipelines.
  • Architect end-to-end technical solutions for legal intake triage, contract automation, IP operations, and spend analytics.
  • Work with the Legal Operations Manager, attorneys, paralegals, and partners in IT and Finance to translate legal workflows into scalable software solutions.
  • Maintain user documentation, system architectures, and infrastructure to ensure stability and security across internal tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional software development or automation engineering experience.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and document complete end-to-end solutions.
  • Strong programming foundation in languages such as Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn how legal teams operate and how corporate law works.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building integrations or custom solutions for internal workflows.
  • Experience with legal technology platforms such as DocuSign, Anaqua, or CounselLink.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or low-code/no-code internal tool builders such as Retool, Streamlit, or Power Automate.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, multifunctional environment.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for nontechnical team members.
  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and building AI-driven enterprise solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is $124,000–$195,500 USD, determined by location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
