Collibra Public Sector’s Professional Services team delivers customer-focused data governance and technology engagements for U.S. federal agencies. The Manager, Professional Services supports federal customer engagements, leads architectural design and execution, and helps customers realize value from Collibra products while complying with government regulations and security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support federal customer engagements through mission-aligned architectural design and execution of Collibra products.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and security standards, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and GovCloud requirements.
  • Provide federal agencies with tailored data governance strategies, knowledge transfer, and measurable business and mission outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Engineering, Product, Support, and Executive teams to align with federal acquisition cycles and stakeholder priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Collibra’s footprint within agencies by aligning product capabilities with agency mandates, modernization efforts, and compliance requirements.
  • Meet or exceed utilization goals and support federal client success, long-term program engagement, and repeatable delivery excellence.
  • Contribute to public sector services and licensing growth through account expansion, strategic planning, and customer advocacy.
  • Lead blueprinting, design workshops, and requirements-gathering activities.
  • Troubleshoot and facilitate resolution of client connectivity and technical software issues.
  • Advise Sales on proposed services engagements and present services offerings to customers.
  • Use Salesforce to navigate opportunities, utilization, projects, and quotes; build reports for visibility into services engagements.
  • Identify at-risk customers and services engagements, create remediation plans, and collaborate with Sales, Support, and technical teams.
  • Build playbooks to address process gaps and inefficiencies within the services organization.
  • Explain how Collibra’s product capabilities and delivered projects provide value to customers.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of consulting experience supporting U.S. federal agencies, with knowledge of data governance, data management, or data quality.
  • Understanding of leading PaaS providers, data lakes, databases, and integration platforms used by federal agencies.
  • At least 2 years of experience with cloud platforms, network-based API integration using REST/JSON, and deployment automation.
  • Linux CLI proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure, and platform technologies.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security solutions such as LDAP or Kerberos.
  • Hands-on experience with data quality, data pipelines, data orchestration, and/or job control tools.
  • Knowledge of at least two or three data management processes, including data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, and business rules management.
  • Proficiency using APIs through Java, Python, or a similar scripting language for custom software implementations in Enterprise Linux or Unix environments.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data integration.
  • Ability to develop functional and technical specifications.
  • Experience with Collibra or comparable technologies.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen residing on U.S. soil and hold an active Secret, TS, or TS-SCI security clearance.
  • Strong communication skills across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused, accountable, self-starting, and able to learn new software skills.
  • Ability to work with business and IT owners to identify and align on solutions to data challenges.

Success Measures

First 30 Days

  • Understand reporting employees’ roles and responsibilities and account assignments.
  • Present the services offering, including deliverables and value.
  • Present the Customer Journey framework and its phases, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Understand the responsibilities of delivery personnel, including Engagement Managers, Solution Architects, Account Program Managers, Premium Support Engineers, Sales Engineers, and Account Executives.

First 60 Days

  • Navigate Salesforce, including opportunities, utilization, projects, and quotes.
  • Identify at-risk customers and services engagements and create remediation plans.
  • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies within the services organization.
  • Present the services offering to a customer.

First 90 Days

  • Advise Sales on proposed services engagements.
  • Build Salesforce reports for services engagement and utilization visibility.
  • Build playbooks addressing process gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Execute remediation plans for at-risk customers in collaboration with Sales, Support, and technical teams.
  • Understand and communicate the value of Collibra’s product suite and delivered projects to customers.

Compensation

The standard base salary range is $128,000–$160,000 per year. The position is also eligible for commission-based compensation. Total rewards may include bonus potential, equity for eligible roles, a monthly Flex Fund stipend, pension/401(k) plans, health coverage, and time off.

Work Arrangement

The role is remote in the United States. Candidates are preferably located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to support in-person federal customer engagements, with an on-site requirement of up to 50%.
