About the Team
As a member of the Partner Solutions Architecture team, you will provide technical guidance to Stripe's technology partners. The team drives growth through co-solutioning, education, and enablement with the partner organization.
The role serves as a technical liaison to the Stripe Partner Development Manager. Responsibilities include creating technical business plans for technology partners, identifying and incubating opportunities, and bringing service and solution offerings built on or with Stripe to market.
Responsibilities
- Work with key technology partners to build Stripe capabilities and solutions that grow their businesses.
- Develop and execute enablement plans.
- Lead technical discussions and solution deep-dives with technology partners on the value Stripe provides to their clients.
- Engage with CTOs, engineering teams, and other technical leads to share technology roadmaps, demonstrate innovations, and define solution strategies.
- Communicate success internally through quarterly business reviews and similar forums.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and assistance during the partner sales process.
- Educate the Stripe sales team on partner solutions and capabilities.
- Advocate for key technology partners within specific sales regions and identify areas for sales partnership.
- Collaborate on technical content, including sample code and demos, to demonstrate implementation approaches and best practices.
- Provide partner-focused guidance and feedback on Stripe products.
- Build consultative relationships with executives and technical decision-makers, providing business and technical thought leadership.
- Help partners address business-critical challenges and develop business models that support new monetization opportunities and growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role, such as solutions consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer, for a global software enterprise.
- Strong technical acumen in API integrations, SaaS platforms, and enterprise architectures.
- Experience working with technology partner ecosystems and payment solutions.
- Understanding of financial infrastructure industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Experience co-selling and co-solutioning with go-to-market partners.
- Executive engagement skills and the ability to establish relationships with key decision-makers.
- Group-facilitation skills and confidence proposing and leading customer meetings.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
- Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to learn Stripe solutions such as Payments, Connect, and Issuing.
- Ability to understand how applications such as ERP, CRM, billing, tax, and legacy systems interact within enterprise technology ecosystems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple strategic opportunities and customers.
- Strategic and creative thinking, with a positive approach to difficult challenges.
Work Arrangement
The role is available either in a Stripe office or remotely from a location at least 35 miles (56 km) from a Stripe office. Office-assigned employees spend at least 50% of each month in their local office or with users. Remote employees are expected to regularly work from home. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location.
