Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Connect is Stripe's product for marketplaces, on-demand services, ecommerce site builders, invoicing platforms, professional SaaS products, fundraising platforms, rental management platforms, and other businesses that need to route payments between multiple parties.

As a Product Lead on the Connect team, you will devise strategy, develop product requirements, and oversee execution for high-impact initiatives serving modern marketplaces and software platforms. Product development is collaborative across engineering, design, analytics, marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the product roadmap for Connect, including accounts and transaction APIs.
Devise strategy, steer product requirements, and oversee execution for high-impact initiatives serving marketplaces and software platforms.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, and other global teams to define, build, and deploy products.
Build and coach a team on best practices for defining product requirements and delivering against those requirements and the overall roadmap.
Meet with customers and collaborate with engineering, marketing, analytics, and sales counterparts.
Coach, mentor, and hire direct reports.

Requirements

3+ years of experience managing product managers and 10+ years of experience as a product manager.
Experience leading cross-team initiatives from ideation through execution.
Technical expertise, including experience leading technical products or a background in computer science or a similar field.
Experience building new products from 0 to 1 and continuously improving an existing product portfolio.
Deep user empathy and a high bar for user experience.
Persistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensuring product success.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
