Details
Anthropic is seeking a Recruiting Solutions Engineer to serve as the trusted technical partner for its Recruiting organization. The role focuses on helping recruiters build with Claude and spans education, technical support, and rapid prototyping. You will identify and codify effective AI skills and workflows, teach them at scale, provide hands-on support, and build pilots for recurring needs.
Working with Recruiting leadership, People Products Engineering, and Data Solutions, you will own the enablement loop for AI-assisted hiring workflows. This includes turning recruiter-built skills into reusable assets, designing evaluation approaches, and creating technical resources that help the recruiting organization operate at the frontier of AI.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated technical advisor to the Recruiting organization, working with recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators to expand the use of Claude in real hiring workflows.
- Identify and codify recruiter-created skills and workarounds into teachable, reusable assets.
- Run enablement sessions, office hours, and workshops across the organization.
- Pair with recruiters on prompts, skills, and agent workflows; debug issues and document recurring solutions.
- Develop fast prototypes and pilots for high-value workflows that cannot be solved through education alone.
- Validate pilots with real recruiter usage and design a path for productionization in the People Products stack.
- Collaborate with the internal AI Council to vet recruiter-built skills for shared tooling.
- Work with People Products to transition successful pilots into production.
- Identify patterns across teams and engagements and share insights with Recruiting leadership, Data Solutions, and People Products.
- Create technical documentation, tutorials, sample skills, and walkthroughs for recruiting audiences.
- Foster community engagement through internal hackathons, demo sessions, and technical office hours.
Requirements
- Experience as a Software Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, technical enablement professional, or equivalent experience building and shipping real products.
- Production experience building LLM-powered applications and workflows, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, and evaluation.
- Strong programming skills, such as Python or TypeScript.
- A pragmatic approach to internal tooling and rapid prototyping.
- Ability to teach audiences without engineering backgrounds and translate AI concepts into practical language and habits.
- Good judgment in determining whether a problem requires enablement, technical support, or software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with recruiters and engineers.
- Passion for making powerful technology safe and beneficial.
- Preferred: experience with recruiting or people technology such as Greenhouse, Workday, scheduling tools, or sourcing tools.
- Preferred: experience working in or alongside recruiting, people operations, or another operations-heavy function.
- Preferred: experience with internal tools or platform work where the customer was a close collaborator.
- Preferred: experience running enablement programs, workshops, or developer-relations-style initiatives.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required. The field of study should be relevant to the role through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Benefits
Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space for collaboration. The role follows a location-based hybrid policy, with staff expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time. Anthropic sponsors visas where possible and makes reasonable efforts to obtain a visa for successful candidates, with immigration lawyer support.
