Details

As a Senior Back-End Engineer, you will build backend infrastructure for an AI security product focused on monitoring AI assets, assessing risks, and delivering actionable insights. You will work in a fast-paced environment requiring agility, adaptability, and continuous iteration. Your work will include enforcing security policies and ensuring safe, compliant AI deployment while contributing to the future of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.
Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Work with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to deploy and manage backend services.
Contribute to the development of microservices architecture.
Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

Five or more years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Experience with database management.
Experience developing and integrating APIs, including designing and building RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
Experience designing and implementing microservices.
Experience with scalability and performance optimization, including caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale distributed architectures.
Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation

The U.S. base salary range is $132,000–$182,000 USD. The range may vary based on the candidate's location, and a different range may apply in some locations.
