Details

Reddit is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop action-oriented insights that drive product strategy through observational causal analysis and experiment meta-analysis. The role involves working with stakeholders, improving experimentation practices, building data infrastructure and self-service tools, measuring team impact, and mentoring junior data scientists and business partners. Full-time telecommuting is an option.

Responsibilities

Develop action-oriented insights through observational causal analysis and experiment meta-analysis.
Clearly communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders, including C-suite leaders.
Guide the design, execution, and analysis of A/B tests to improve experimentation practices and maximize learnings.
Create and maintain ETLs, tables, dashboards, and other self-service tools for data scientists and cross-functional partners.
Design, evaluate, and measure team-level KPIs to support quarterly goal setting and demonstrate team impact.
Engage regularly with stakeholders to gather feedback, share progress, and align data science work with business goals and outcomes.
Mentor junior data scientists and business partners in data science best practices and methods.

Requirements

Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related field; or
Bachelor's degree in one of the listed or related quantitative disciplines, plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related field.

The base pay range for this position is $229,000.00–$267,100.00 USD. The position may also be eligible for a commission depending on the position offered.
