Responsibilities

Develop and manage platforms and solutions to minimize financial and regulatory risk while maintaining excellent user experience.
Diagnose and resolve production issues across various services and throughout the technology stack.
Proactively identify, analyze, and swiftly mitigate emerging risk patterns.
Partner with engineering, product, policy, legal, operations, and data science teams.
Collaborate with other engineers to build modular, composable fraud control systems.
Interact with product teams to understand user pain points and requirements and inform roadmap and prioritization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Five years of post-bachelor's progressive experience in software engineering.
Five years of experience with at least one of Java, Ruby, Python, or Go.
Five years of experience performing data-driven investigations and analysis using SQL and visualization software.
Five years of experience working with systems agnostic of programming languages.
Five years of experience translating business requirements into software requirements and system designs.
Five years of experience identifying and resolving production issues spanning multiple services and stack layers.
Three years of experience building platforms and solutions to minimize financial and regulatory risk while maintaining a high-quality user experience.
Three years of experience working within the Trust and Safety industry.
