Team

These engines compute rule-based parameters, such as definition of default and early warning signals, as well as model-based parameters such as Probability of Default (PD) and Loss Given Default (LGD).

The engines must comply with regulations because the computed parameters have a major impact on capital calculations, risk-weighted assets (RWA), and loan loss provisions (LLP). The team also maintains the data mart used for developing new models and acts as a vital link between the credit risk business and operational tribes such as data management.

The global ING job architecture naming convention for this role is "Data Scientist III".
