Details

Anthropic is seeking a Product Manager to own how its model safeguards, fraud defenses, and compliance posture are delivered across cloud partners including Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud's Agent Platform, and Microsoft Foundry. The role focuses on designing solutions for third-party distribution across model safety, trust and safety, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Model Safety Across Clouds

  • Own the multi-cloud strategy and roadmap for safeguards, including data retention, automated review, human review, and enforcement, designed to fit each partner's operating model.
  • Design product experiences and operational paths for eligibility criteria, verification paths, and controls attached to differentiated capabilities for higher-trust organizations.
  • Build threat-intelligence sharing with AWS, Google, and Microsoft so misuse is detected and acted on consistently across surfaces.
  • Drive transparency commitments to customers and partners regarding data access, review, and enforcement.

Fraud and Abuse

  • Own fraud and abuse defenses for partner-sold offerings, including bot and mass-registration abuse, pre-sale and post-sale risk controls, and chargebacks where the partner owns billing.
  • Define the fraud signals exchanged with each cloud partner and convert them into product requirements that influence growth initiatives.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Engage directly with enterprise security, risk, and compliance leaders to understand requirements and turn them into roadmap priorities.
  • Serve as Anthropic's product counterpart to trust and safety, security, and compliance teams at AWS, Google, and Microsoft.
  • Work with Safeguards, Inference, Policy, Security, Legal, and multi-cloud engineering teams to ship a coherent set of controls across three clouds.
  • Partner with sales and partnerships to support enterprise evaluations where data-handling and safety requirements are decisive.
  • Work with marketing and partner teams on external positioning of Anthropic's safeguards.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience.
  • 5 or more years of product experience in platform product roles involving high-scale, enterprise-facing, or developer-facing software.
  • High autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, with a track record of executing across teams and organizations.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to create clarity from complexity.
  • Fluency in both policy nuance and systems detail, with the ability to explain tradeoffs to lawyers, engineers, go-to-market teams, and partner executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product experience in trust and safety, security, privacy, or compliance.
  • Experience building or shipping products with a hyperscaler as a partner and aligning strategic goals over multiple quarters with an external third party.
  • Experience owning a top-line revenue target while being accountable for a counter-risk outcome, such as a fraud-loss number, abuse rate, compliance authorization, or enforcement program.
  • Direct experience on a trust and safety, fraud, or security product team at AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, or at an independent software vendor shipping through one of their marketplaces.
  • Background in AI safety, content moderation, or abuse-detection systems.
  • Experience designing incident-response or escalation processes spanning more than one company.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Field of study relevant to the role, as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Benefits

Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space for collaboration.
