Details

A QA Engineer at Funda focuses on improving the quality of every line of code, sprint, and release. The role enables continuous deployment and supports the team in delivering frequent, high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough testing to identify defects, bugs, and issues.
Create automated tests using knowledge of the codebase and domain.
Ensure software products meet quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Promote a whole-team approach to testing by sharing knowledge.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary Scrum team consisting of a Product Owner, UX Designer, and Frontend and Backend Developers.
Contribute to the QA practice within Funda.

Funda uses Playwright and has an engineering blog post about moving away from Selenium to Playwright.

Requirements

Extensive experience with Agile Testing in a Scrum environment.
Experience with test automation and programming using C#, Nuxt, and Flutter.
Experience with a Unit Testing framework, preferably xUnit.
Experience designing, creating, and maintaining automated tests with Playwright and integration tests in .NET Core.
Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of a Continuous Delivery software strategy.
Experience with an issue tracking system such as Jira.
A bachelor's degree or other university degree in science.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Currently living in the Netherlands.
