Details

A QA Engineer at Funda focuses on improving the quality of every line of code, sprint, and release. The role enables continuous deployment and supports the team in delivering frequent, high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing to identify defects, bugs, and issues.
  • Create automated tests using knowledge of the codebase and domain.
  • Ensure software products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
  • Promote a whole-team approach to testing by sharing knowledge.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary Scrum team consisting of a Product Owner, UX Designer, and Frontend and Backend Developers.
  • Contribute to the QA practice within Funda.

Funda uses Playwright and has an engineering blog post about moving away from Selenium to Playwright.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Agile Testing in a Scrum environment.
  • Experience with test automation and programming using C#, Nuxt, and Flutter.
  • Experience with a Unit Testing framework, preferably xUnit.
  • Experience designing, creating, and maintaining automated tests with Playwright and integration tests in .NET Core.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of a Continuous Delivery software strategy.
  • Experience with an issue tracking system such as Jira.
  • A bachelor's degree or other university degree in science.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Currently living in the Netherlands.
