SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer, Commercial, to work with Commercial Mid-Market prospects and customers across the South and Southeast territory. The role involves aligning customer goals and requirements with SentinelOne offerings and supporting sales initiatives as a security pre-sales engineer.

The ideal candidate has expertise in Endpoint Security (EDR), Generative AI Security, SIEM, and Threat Hunting. This position requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable presenting innovative technology to executives and security practitioners.

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales partners to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns.
  • Understand customer requirements related to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments.
  • Track and document aspects of the sales cycle that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer.
  • Lead proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements.
  • Prepare and lead technical presentations explaining how products and services work.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery.
  • Recommend new and improved products to customers and explain their cost-effectiveness.
  • Participate actively within the broader technical team by sharing experience and best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably endpoint cyber defense.
  • Demonstrable experience handling objections and positioning products against competitive technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience speaking to small and large audiences.
  • Concise written and oral communication skills for leading business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with executives and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience successfully selling to mid-size and large customers.
  • Ability to provide first-level technical support throughout the sales cycle and initially support customers through implementation.
  • Basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, and notable malware and anti-malware solutions and techniques.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Experience in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing, red teaming, or incident response is preferred.

This U.S. role has a base pay range plus commissions that vary based on the candidate's location. The posted range is the on-target earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and commissions. A different pay range may apply in some locations and will be provided during the recruiting process.
