Details

Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its Enterprise Solutions Engineering team. The team consists of customer-facing product experts who support global growth by educating prospective and existing customers through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing engagement.

The role partners closely with Sales to qualify and close opportunities and serves as a key communication channel between customers, Product Management, and Engineering. Grafana Labs is a remote-first company with an international team and an open-source culture.

Responsibilities

Join an early member of a high-growth team solving technical and customer problems.
Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical customer engagements and help close high-velocity opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skills, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams to provide feedback about products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems identified during interactions.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge-base articles, and create other public and internal enablement materials.

Requirements

Ideally located in Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, and/or Tampa.
Five or more years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open-source technologies or in the metrics and monitoring space.
Ability to work in a startup environment with varied and complex responsibilities requiring judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
Ability to work and collaborate with an international team in a remote-first environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate the company's value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
Enjoyment of solving technical challenges and creating solutions for customers.
A technical mindset and desire to continue developing technically. Relevant backgrounds may include a coding bootcamp, post-sales experience, or engineering experience.
Self-motivation, initiative, and creativity.

Compensation & Benefits

United States on-target earnings compensation range: $204,000–$254,000 per year.
