Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform used by businesses worldwide to accept payments, grow revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities.

The Stripe Dashboard helps businesses manage integrations, analyze fraud, resolve customer issues, and operate their businesses. The Dashboard team owns navigation, search, settings, information architecture, and core experiences such as customer management and home-page customization.

This role will shape the Dashboard strategy, expand its impact across Stripe, and help transform the Dashboard into a powerful tool for payment professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve the Dashboard to meet the needs of different business models.
  • Improve wayfinding mechanisms to increase user productivity and product discovery.
  • Shape the information architecture to encourage interoperability.
  • Develop a strategy and roadmap for a more personalized Dashboard.
  • Create a playbook for interoperability across the Dashboard's layers of indirection.
  • Partner with third-party developers to understand how the Dashboard can better serve their needs.
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for making the Dashboard effective for any business model.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams across PST, EST, and CET time zones to ship high-impact functionality.
  • Define and track success metrics for quality and performance.
  • Partner with senior leadership to uphold quality standards at scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, design, or engineering, including at least 3+ years in a senior capacity making company-level product decisions.
  • Strong understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
  • Technical familiarity with personalization systems, data modeling, and machine learning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across business, design, and engineering audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience leading company-wide initiatives that influence technical roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Belief that fast software is the best software.
  • Experience building complex personalization systems.
  • Experience developing governance frameworks that balance usage and discovery.
  • A strong, informed perspective on how third-party applications fit into first-party experiences.
  • Interest in using social media to interact directly with customers for feedback.
