Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Payments Intelligence organization optimizes billions of dollars in transactions processed by Stripe annually, maximizing successful transactions while minimizing payment costs and fraud. The team owns products such as Radar, Authorization Boost, and Disputes, builds fast and scalable services, creates intuitive user experiences, serves real-time predictions as part of Stripe’s payment infrastructure, and architects controls that leverage machine learning to manage users’ businesses.

As a Product Lead on the Payments Intelligence team, you will scope, design, and build intuitive features that help users maximize revenue while minimizing costs, while also shaping the intelligence platform. You will work on infrastructure and platform systems as well as products that create direct user-facing business impact. The role involves close collaboration with engineers, data scientists, designers, product marketers, partnership teams, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the long-term vision and strategy for Payments Intelligence products, prioritize initiatives, and create an execution roadmap.
  • Understand user needs by working with developers, sales, and support, and by analyzing feedback, market trends, and data.
  • Build and launch new capabilities and products that provide significant value to customers.
  • Set the pace, prioritization, and execution for the team.
  • Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to solve technical and product problems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Operations.
  • Build and coach the team on best practices for defining product requirements and delivering against requirements and the overall roadmap.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant product management experience.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand how a business works, identify improvements, and build product and technical solutions.
  • Customer- and partner-facing experience, including navigating conversations with customers or third-party collaborators.
  • Strong operational skills, including the ability to design and drive cross-functional teams and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, reason from user-first principles, and deliver appropriate results.
  • Precise and effective written and verbal communication, including communication with external customers and partners.
  • A results-oriented approach and the ability to execute complex projects.
