The Cash Platform team is part of Stripe's Money Movement Services Platform. It manages Stripe's foreign exchange (FX) and cash positions globally, including delivering FX trades and optimizing the cost and routing of cross-border payouts. Stripe's in-house bank enables near-instant movement of funds across accounts worldwide, and the Cash Platform is central to bringing this infrastructure to Stripe's products and customers.

Responsibilities

Work closely with engineering teams across Cash Platform and Money Movement Services, as well as partners in Legal, Treasury, Financial Crimes, and Sales.
Define the strategy and roadmap for Stripe's FX and cross-border payout products.
Drive cost optimization and routing decisions at scale.
Help shape the monetization strategy for Stripe's in-house banking infrastructure.
Understand the competitive landscape and define benchmarks for Stripe's FX and cross-border payout products.
Own the Cash Platform product strategy and roadmap, balancing near-term cost and performance optimization with long-term platform monetization opportunities.
Drive API design and technical decisions with engineering leads, ensuring the infrastructure is high quality and commercially oriented.
Lead cross-functional initiatives across Money Movement, Sales, and partner teams to accelerate delivery and adoption of FX and payout products.
Engage with senior customer and internal stakeholders to communicate roadmap direction, surface requirements, and build alignment.
Own decisions that directly affect the revenue and cost profile of Stripe's money movement business.

Requirements

5+ years of product management experience.
Strong technical foundation, ideally as a former engineer or data scientist, with the ability to own API design decisions and understand systems end to end, including cost and latency considerations.
Business-minded approach, with the ability to evaluate decisions through the lens of revenue and commercial impact.
Ability to coordinate closely across engineering, finance, legal, compliance, and sales teams.
Experience with FX, cross-border payments, treasury, or similar financial infrastructure, including experience at companies such as Airwallex, Wise, Revolut, Payoneer, Ramp, or a major financial institution.
Strong execution skills, including the ability to manage complexity across multiple workstreams and deliver in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
Strong communication skills, including clearly communicating positions, blockers, and next steps to partners, stakeholders, and leaders.
