At ABN AMRO Core Transactions, you will help develop and maintain high-traffic, Azure-hosted applications supporting critical payment processes. Working in an interdisciplinary DevOps team alongside frontend, application, and backend engineers, you will contribute to the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of the bank’s payment landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications supporting critical payment processes.
• Work with an interdisciplinary DevOps team comprising frontend, application, and backend engineers.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integration across systems.
• Take responsibility for the full lifecycle of your components.
• Handle incidents and ensure timely resolution within service-level agreements.
• Contribute to the stability, performance, and reliability of high-traffic applications.
• Apply clean coding practices, including separation of concerns, pure functions, and clear naming conventions.
• Continuously improve code quality through refactoring.
• Write technical documentation and explain major changes to the team.
• Contribute to continuous learning and knowledge sharing in an Agile and DevOps environment.

Requirements

• Customer-centric focus.
• Experience with Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Solid experience with unit testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of lifecycle management.
• Experience working in Scrum and Agile environments.

• Proactive attitude and openness to feedback.
• Strong craftsmanship mindset, with a focus on code quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience developing frontend libraries for reusable components and shared functionality.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Awareness of over-engineering and the ability to keep solutions simple and pragmatic.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and propose innovative solutions.
• Exposure to Extreme Programming practices, including pair programming and test-driven development.
• Responsible and effective use of AI tools in development workflows.
