Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability to lead products spanning Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability within Grafana Cloud. The role focuses on defining product vision, managing the roadmap, conducting customer discovery, and coordinating strategy across Engineering, Design, UX, Product Marketing, and go-to-market stakeholders.

The position is fully remote and open to candidates in Canada's Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

Transform ideas and customer feedback into a product vision and roadmap.
Define the vision and ensure the long-term success of Infrastructure Observability.
Develop net-new product initiatives, such as Host Monitoring, while maintaining roadmaps and customer satisfaction for mature products.
Conduct customer discovery to understand user needs, requirements, and pain points.
Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering, providing evidence for trade-offs and priorities.
Build consensus and alignment across multiple Engineering groups and stakeholders.
Work with Product Marketing to support go-to-market activities, including presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers.
Make decisions about go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering.
Establish integration touchpoints with Grafana Cloud Knowledge Graph, Grafana Assistant, and other Grafana Cloud offerings.
Help create a seamless monitoring experience with guided explorations and natural-language interactions.
Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to build effective products and features.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 7 years of Product Management experience.
At least 5 years of experience with B2B SaaS products.
Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts.
Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Bonus Points

Experience with open-source software and/or commercial open-source companies.
Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either as an SRE or for external customers.
Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, cloud service providers, and virtual machines, with the ability to explain these models in human-readable terms.
Experience with AI tools.
