Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability to define the vision and ensure the long-term success of Grafana Cloud's infrastructure observability products, including Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability. The role involves developing net-new initiatives such as Host Monitoring while maintaining roadmaps and customer satisfaction for mature products. This is a fully remote position for candidates based in Ireland.

Responsibilities

Transform ideas and customer feedback into a product vision and roadmap.
Conduct customer discovery to understand user needs, requirements, and pain points.
Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering, providing evidence for tradeoffs and priorities.
Work with Product Marketing to enable go-to-market activities, including presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers.
Make decisions regarding go-to-market strategy, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering.
Work with engineering partners to refine product strategy and drive adoption of shared services and platform capabilities.
Build consensus and alignment across multiple Engineering groups and stakeholders.
Integrate Infrastructure Observability with other Grafana Cloud offerings, including Grafana Cloud Knowledge Graph and Grafana Assistant.
Establish a seamless monitoring experience supporting guided explorations and natural-language interaction across infrastructure layers.

Requirements

BS or BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 7 years of Product Management experience.
At least 5 years of experience with B2B SaaS products.
Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts.
Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams.
Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products and features with sound UX in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with open-source software or commercial open-source companies.
Experience using or building observability products or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external customers.
Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, cloud service providers, and virtual machines, with the ability to explain these models in human-readable terms.
Experience with AI tools.
