Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability. This fully remote role will focus on Grafana Cloud products spanning Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability, serving customers from self-serve users to large enterprises.

Responsibilities

Define the vision and ensure the long-term success of Infrastructure Observability.
Work with engineering partners to develop and refine product strategy.
Create product vision and roadmap from ideas, customer feedback, and user needs.
Lead net-new product initiatives, including Host Monitoring, while maintaining mature products and customer satisfaction.
Conduct extensive customer discovery to understand user needs, requirements, and pain points.
Represent user feedback to Engineering and provide evidence for tradeoffs and priorities.
Build consensus and alignment across multiple Engineering groups and stakeholders.
Work with Product Marketing Management to enable go-to-market activities and communicate product differentiation through presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers.
Develop go-to-market strategies involving competitive analysis, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering.
Establish integration touchpoints with Grafana Cloud Knowledge Graph, Grafana Assistant, and other Grafana Cloud offerings to provide a seamless monitoring experience.
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, UX, and go-to-market teams in a globally distributed environment.

Requirements

BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of Product Management experience.
5+ years of experience with B2B SaaS products.
Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts.
Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams.
Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products and features with sound UX in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Bonus Points

Experience with open-source software and/or commercial open-source companies.
Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external customers.
Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, cloud service providers, and virtual machines.
Experience with AI tools.

The role is fully remote and candidates in Germany are being considered. In Germany, the base compensation range is EUR 97,034–116,441. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skill set. Compensation ranges are country-specific, and recruiters will discuss the applicable range and benefits for candidates applying from another location.
