Senior Product Manager, Infrastructure Observability

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability to define the vision and ensure the long-term success of Grafana Cloud's infrastructure observability products, including Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability. The role is fully remote and open to candidates in Sweden.

Grafana Labs is a 100% remote company with a global, distributed team. Product Managers develop product vision and strategy, own roadmaps and market research, and act as the primary advocates and experts for their product areas. They connect Engineering, Design, UX, and go-to-market teams and must communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Transform ideas and customer feedback into a product vision and roadmap.
• Lead the long-term strategy for Infrastructure Observability in partnership with Engineering.
• Define net-new product initiatives, such as Host Monitoring, while maintaining roadmaps and customer satisfaction for mature products.
• Conduct customer discovery to understand user needs, requirements, and pain points.
• Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering and provide evidence to support trade-offs and priorities.
• Build consensus and alignment across multiple Engineering groups and stakeholders.
• Work with Product Marketing Management to enable go-to-market activities and communicate product differentiation through presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers.
• Use product expertise to guide go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering.
• Establish integration touchpoints with Grafana Cloud Knowledge Graph, Grafana Assistant, and other Grafana Cloud offerings to create a seamless monitoring experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of Product Management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with B2B SaaS products.
• Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
• Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams.
• Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build user-friendly products and features in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with open-source software or commercial open-source companies.
• Experience using or building observability products or developer tools, either as an SRE or for external customers.
• Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, cloud service providers, and virtual machines, with the ability to explain these models in human-readable terms.
• Experience with AI tools.
