Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability to lead products spanning Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability in Grafana Cloud. The role is fully remote and open to candidates in Spain.

As part of the Product Management organization, you will develop product vision and strategy, own the roadmap, conduct market research, advocate for customers, and collaborate with Engineering, Design, UX, leadership, and go-to-market teams. Product Managers serve as the bridge between Engineering, Design, UX, and GTM and must be technically proficient when representing products to customers.

Responsibilities

Define the vision and long-term strategy for Infrastructure Observability.
Develop product roadmaps for mature products and new initiatives such as Host Monitoring.
Conduct customer discovery to understand user needs, requirements, and pain points.
Collect, curate, and communicate user feedback to Engineering, using evidence to support tradeoffs and priorities.
Build consensus and alignment across multiple Engineering groups and stakeholders.
Ensure Infrastructure Observability integrates effectively with the broader Grafana Cloud product suite, including Grafana Cloud Knowledge Graph and Grafana Assistant.
Enable go-to-market activities with Product Marketing, including presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers.
Drive decisions regarding competitive analysis, pricing, packaging, licensing, tiering, and other go-to-market strategies.
Support adoption of shared services and platform capabilities across multiple product teams.

Requirements

BS or BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of Product Management experience.
5+ years of experience with B2B SaaS products.
Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts.
Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products and features in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with open-source software or commercial open-source companies.
Experience using or building observability products or developer tools, either as an SRE or for external customers.
Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, cloud service providers, and virtual machines, with the ability to explain them in human-readable terms.
Experience with AI tools.
