Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its Customer Experience team. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role involving technical delivery, consulting, onboarding, implementation, and expansion of Grafana observability solutions. The role is remote in Spain and works with customers to solve complex problems, accelerate adoption, and achieve business outcomes.

The Solutions Architect acts as a trusted technical partner rather than a quota-carrying seller. The role involves guiding customers through technical engagements, providing best practices, delivering training, supporting project execution, and ensuring Grafana solutions align with customer architectures, goals, and constraints.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
Understand business needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
Design solutions involving data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
Act as a functional lead and define clear methodologies and functional capabilities.
Lead customer workshops, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions.
Provide onboarding, implementation support, technical consulting, training, and roadmap assurance.
Advocate for standards and best practices.
Stay current with Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
Support Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams with technical expertise.
Identify recurring issues, monitor support needs, and advocate for product improvements.
Manage timelines, unblock teams, and accelerate solution delivery.

Requirements

Located in Spain.
5+ years of experience working on deployment teams and using project management techniques.
Direct experience with observability.
Experience using and deploying observability stacks covering visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, and traces.
Preferably experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Cortex, Enterprise Metrics, Loki, Enterprise Logs, Jaeger, and/or Tempo.
Proven track record of successfully delivering customer projects, preferably enterprise observability implementations for large customers.
Excellent communication skills for working with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Experience with Kubernetes, including kubectl and Helm; Tanka is preferred.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Ability to work with complex business and technology requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Ability to learn new skills and technologies and work independently.
