Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect (Professional Services) to join its Customer Experience team. This is a hands-on role for technically skilled professionals who help customers solve complex problems, accelerate adoption, and achieve business outcomes with Grafana. The role is customer-focused and is not quota-carrying sales.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with business executives, project managers, IT development staff, customers, and partners.
Understand business needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
Design solutions involving data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
Act as a functional lead, define methodologies, lead functional workshops, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions.
Provide onboarding, implementation, expansion support, technical consulting, training, and best-practice guidance.
Support customers during critical project phases through roadmap assurance, project execution guidance, and architecture alignment.
Advocate for standards and best practices.
Stay current with Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams on product and service improvements.
Identify recurring issues, monitor support needs, and advocate for product enhancements.
Manage timelines, unblock teams, and solve technical problems using command-line tools.

Requirements

Located in Germany.
5+ years of experience working on deployment teams and using project management techniques.
Direct experience with observability.
Knowledge of best practices for using and deploying observability stacks, including visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, and traces.
Experience with Grafana products, preferably Grafana, Prometheus, Cortex or Enterprise Metrics, Loki or Enterprise Logs, Jaeger, and Tempo.
Proven track record of successfully delivering customer projects, preferably enterprise observability implementations for large customers.
Excellent communication skills with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Experience with Kubernetes, including kubectl; Helm and Tanka are preferred.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Ability to work with complex business and technology requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Passion for open-source software and customer-facing technical delivery.
