Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Local Payment Methods team owns a critical payments platform that processes billions of dollars in payments annually and connects payment methods to millions of Stripe users globally. The team builds product experiences that help providers improve integrations, increase conversion, and grow their businesses, while supporting users adopting new payment methods such as Buy Now Pay Later, digital wallets, and crypto payments.

Responsibilities

Drive functional and technical delivery of key team and organization-wide programs and initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design, scope, and shepherd features.
Create functional specifications, project and release plans, and roadmaps.
Own and execute one or more software engineering programs simultaneously.
Help drive product decisions aligned with program and broader company initiatives.
Influence peers and managers and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity.
Guide and manage the use of agile methodologies to simplify project delivery.
Lead complex programs across engineering, product, finance, legal, compliance, risk, and other cross-functional teams.
Contribute to program strategy, drive technical decision-making, and manage execution from planning through delivery.
Implement mechanisms that make programs effective and scalable across Stripe.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

6+ years of experience in technical program and product management, with a consistent track record of shipping products with broad and global customer impact.
Experience providing program management throughout all phases of software development, from kickoff to delivery, demonstrating critical thinking and thought leadership.
Ability to assess product and infrastructure architecture and lead technical discussions.
Ability to operate independently and lead efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines and time zones.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to build relationships and collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams.
